Once you reach Tier 3, you will be able to deposit funds from your personal UK GBP bank account.
At the Accounts page choose your GBP account.
Click Bank deposit.
Read through the UK banking terms and conditions for the transfer and click Yes, I agree button.
In the next window, you'll see your personal account number and sort code, use these details to send funds from your bank. These details belong to your own virtual GBP account created within Cryptopay.
The minimum deposit amount is 10 GBP, the maximum one is €50,000 daily and €100,000 weekly.
Your first GBP bank deposit from a linked bank account is processed manually from 8 AM to 4 PM UTC every two hours on business days. On weekends, however, we can not guarantee the same processing frequency and speed, and the processing time may increase up to the next business day.
All the next deposits sent from the same account are processed automatically 24/7. If you link another account, the first deposit from it will be processed manually in the timeframe mentioned above, the following ones will be automated.
NB: all the withdrawals in GBP are processed from 8 AM to 4 PM UTC every two hours on business days, or up to 48 hours on weekends.
Please note: GBP transfers are processed using the Faster Payments Scheme. Not all banks are signed up to it, so you may want to check up with your bank or your provider prior to making a deposit, whether they support Faster Payments or not.
Important: some banks might not recognise Cryptopay's sort code as it begins with "0". This can happen when a bank does not update its Extended Industry Sort Code Directory (EISCD) correctly. The other possibility is that they an old system that does not register the 0 at the beginning of the Sort Code. Please enquire with your bank if there is such an issue.
Please also note: you cannot link your Cryptopay account number and sort code to Paypal. All bank transfers between your Cryptopay account and Paypal are not supported and will be cancelled by our Payments team.
