How to send funds to an external wallet?
Fast way to send funds to your friends next door and abroad

So, how to send cryptocurrency?

  1. Click the Withdraw button at the top of the Portfolio page, or Send within the account of your choice.

  2. In the pop-up window, you will see the selected account from which the funds will be sent (From), you'll be able to change it at this step too. If you are withdrawing from a fiat account, you can also choose the currency of the destination wallet.

  3. Enter the destination address (and the destination tag if it’s XRP).

  4. Enter the amount.

  5. Confirm the transaction.

Please pay close attention to the miner fee you pay. It may be a lot if the load is high. In such cases, you can use XRP or LTC - their fees are much lower.

And of course, do not forget to enter the destination tag if you’re sending XRP.

The processing time depends on the cryptocurrency you use and the network load. Here are the estimates:

  • BTC: several hours

  • XRP: a few minutes

  • LTC: less than an hour

  • ETH and ERC20 assets: less than an hour

There is a group of coins on Cryptopay - ADA, DOGE, DOT, SOL, XMR, ATOM, ETC, KSM, MANA, SC, ICX, XNO and XTZ - that can't be sent to the external wallets - you can only buy these coins with a bank card and exchange to other supported currencies if you need to withdraw them.

How to trace your transactions?

You can easily track the status of your transactions by going to the blockchain explorer from your Portfolio page.

1. From your Portfolio, go to the account you used to make a transaction.

2. Click on the transaction you are looking for. In the opened window, you’ll see its TxID.

3. Click on it, and the opened link will bring you to the page with all the necessary information.

Zero commission transfers inside Cryptopay

By the way, all transactions between Cryptopay accounts are now free of charge!

You can send cryptocurrency to any verified Cryptopay user around the globe without paying a transaction or a transaction fee (but mind the exchange rate of 1%).

Such transfers are processed instantly, and the recipient can exchange to fiat right away or put their funds to good use by loading their Cryptopay card (please note that the card programme is only available in the UK and EEA countries for now).

NB: Cryptocurrency transfers are final and irreversible. Please send crypto only if you trust the recipient and are 100% sure that the address is correct.
