This guide is for the web version. If you are using our app, please click one of the links below:

Two-factor authentication, or 2FA, adds an extra layer of security to your Cryptopay account. With 2FA, every time you log in or make a transaction, you need to enter a one-time password generated by a special app (e.g. Google Authenticator or Authy). So, even if someone hacks your password, they won’t be able to log in.

How to enable the 2FA?

  1. Install the 2FA app if you don’t have it;

  2. Log into your account;

  3. Click on your name in the upper right corner;

  4. Select My account;

  5. Go to Security settings and click Turn it on:

  6. Scan the QR code with a 2FA app, such as Authy or Google authenticator;

  7. Enter the code into the field below the QR code:

  8. That’s it!

If you are using our app, please go to your profile (upper left corner) and scroll down to find the 2FA.

Still don’t use our apps? Just follow these links to fix it!

How to reset the 2FA?

Contact the support team via our live chat or at support@cryptopay.me to reset the 2FA.

We would need you to answer a couple of questions regarding your account to prove your ownership.

If everything is okay - we will turn the 2FA off so that you can easily log in to your account. Don't forget to turn the 2FA back on, once you've successfully logged in.

If you got locked out, need to get your 2FA disabled, or simply have any questions, please contact our support team in the live chat or at support@cryptopay.me.
