There are several questions that we wish to answer so that you have a better understanding of the whole Buy crypto with your debit/credit card feature.

Are there any fees?

The 4% fee is applied to each purchase.

What are the limits?

The minimal deposit amount is 10 EUR/GBP.

What currencies does Cryptopay accept for buying crypto with a card?

Payments are processed in GBP, EUR, USD, RUB, ZAR, RON, CHF, SEK, HUF, DKK, PLN, NOK and CZK. You can use the card in any currency, just choose which of the supported ones is more suitable for you. Funds will be converted automatically using the applicable rate of your bank. This option helps eliminate unnecessary conversion fees in the process.

What cryptocurrencies can I buy?

Are there any restrictions on bank card payments?

  • You must be a verified user of Cryptopay;

  • The card must support 3D Secure;

  • The card must be issued in one of these countries.

  • The card must be issued in your name.

Please note: if you link a card that is not in your name to your account, our Payments team might request additional documents from you and the cardholder. For more details, please contact our Support Team at support@cryptopay.me.

Which cards can I use?

We accept VISA, VISA Delta, MasterCard, MasterCard Debit, and VISA Electron cards.

Can I pay with my PayPal card?

Yes, there is a way to pay with your PayPal card if it meets the above-mentioned criteria.

What is the billing address?

The billing address is an address associated with your credit or debit card account.

Why do you need my billing address?

Your billing address helps us to make your purchase safe.

How many cards can I link to the account?

You can have up to 3 different cards linked to your account simultaneously.

How can I unlink my current card?

To unlink your card, go to My account - Linked Cards and click the Unlink button next to the card you'd like to remove.

Does Cryptopay keep my card details?

No, we don't keep your card details. We simply tokenize credentials in the encrypted form so that we can process your further transactions with this card.

Where will my purchased crypto be credited to?

To the address of your Cryptopay wallet in the corresponding currency.

How much does it cost to link a card?

It is completely free to link your card!

How long does a transaction take to process?

Usually, just a couple of minutes are enough for your transaction to be processed. Once it's done, you’ll instantly receive your purchased cryptocurrency.

What do I do if my purchase failed?

  • Check if you have anough funds on the balance of your card;

  • Make sure that you receive a 3D Secure code. If you don't receive the code to confirm your transcation, please contact your card issuer (bank) to resolve it;

  • Make a bank deposit and convert your funds to cryptocurrency at a 1% fee;

  • Use a different card;

  • Try making a transaction again later;

  • Contcat our support team if the problem persists.

Can I get a refund?

You can receive a refund if the funds charged from your bank card never reached your account in Cryptopay. We can't make a refund in case the cryptocurrency you buy reaches your account. The same applies to the situation when you change your mind right after the transaction has happened.

How long does it take to get a refund?

In case something goes wrong and your payment doesn't reach Cryptopay, it will take 10-14 business days for the refund to be processed. We will notify you once the refund is sent.

NB: Our payment processor doesn't accept any cards issued in Jordan, Norway, Philippines. If you are a resident of one of these countries, you still can use cards issued in other jurisdictions and the bank transfers feature. Sorry for the inconvenience!
