In this article we will tell you how to change the PIN code for your card using the desktop version of our service. You can also read the detailed guides on how to do it using Android and iOS.

Once your card is issued, the PIN code is automatically assigned to it. You can read how to retrieve it in your Cryptopay account here.

Please kindly note that you can change the current PIN code to the one you want at any time. To do this:

  1. Go to the Cards tab.
  2. Click on your card balance.
  3. Click the Change PIN button.
  4. Enter your new PIN code.

Congratulations, you have changed the PIN code for your C.Pay card!

Please note: older payment terminals and street ATMs might not recognize the PIN change* – in this case, you’ll need to synchronize the PIN code manually at an ATM in a bank office.

*When you change your PIN online (from your Cryptopay account or in the C.Pay app), some ATMs and payment terminals may not scan that the card has a new PIN installed and would show you a 'Wrong PIN' error message. In this case, you’d need to synchronize PIN manually at an aforementioned ATM making any operation that requires a PIN code.

Unfortunately, this is something out of our control since it depends on the payment terminal software.
