Please kindly note that in this article we will tell you how to change the PIN code for your card using the Android app. You can also read the detailed guides on how to do it using the desktop version of our service and iOS app.
Once your card is issued, the PIN code is automatically assigned to it. You can read how to retrieve it in your Cryptopay account here.
Please kindly note that you can change the current PIN code to the one you want at any time. To do this:
Go to the Cards tab.
Tap Settings ⚙️ in the top right corner.
Click the Change PIN button.
Enter your new PIN code.
Congratulations, you have changed the PIN code for your Cryptopay card!
Please note: older ATM models might not recognize the PIN change* – in this case, you’ll need to change the PIN again at the ATM.
*Thing is that when you change your PIN online (from your Cryptopay account or in the app) and then proceed to an ATM withdrawal, some ATMs may not scan that the card has a new PIN installed and will show you a corresponding wrong-PIN error message. In this case, you’d need to change your PIN manually at an ATM.
Unfortunately, this is something out of our control since it depends on the ATM software.
