They say it’s better to be safe than sorry. No doubt! Therefore, we are here to tell you more about the Security tab. Here are the options available in this section.
IP address verification
For example, you go on holiday and have an urge to access your business account (we've been there, and we understand that). Firstly, we will ask you to verify your IP address via email. Once it’s done, you'll be able to log into the account and use it freely.
Removing an IP address from the whitelist
However, what if you don’t want anyone in your company to see this IP address? Or what if your account got compromised from a particular IP address? No worries, we've got your back. Go to the Security tab:
Then you need to go to the IP Whitelist section and select the IP you want to remove.
Voilà! The deleted IP address will no longer have access to your precious Cryptopay account.
Changing the active session time
You can also change the length of your active session in the Security section. Different periods are available, from 15 minutes to 1 hour. But when setting the maximum active session, always remember that it's important to worry about your account not being accessed by third parties.
Change password
As a security measure, we recommend that you update your password every three months. This is easy to do in the Security section. Simply click the Change button in the appropriate field.
