What is 2FA?
Two-factor authentication, also known as 2FA, TFA, two-step verification, or multifactor authentication, is an extra layer of security that requires not only a login and password but also something that only an account holder knows and has access to. In our case, we require your mobile phone with a special app where a single-use code (OTP) is generated. Once 2FA is enabled, you will need to enter this six-digit code in the correspondent field every time you log in.
This adds a second layer of protection and makes it almost impossible for anyone but you to access your corporate account.
How to turn on 2FA?
Enabled 2FA is mandatory to use your account, so all you need to do is log in to your account and follow these steps:
After logging into the account, you will see a screen asking you to enable 2FA for the account. Click the Enable button next to the Google Authenticator option.
2. Scan the QR code in the Google Authenticator application and enter the code received there into the corresponding field on our website.
3. Click Activate 2FA button.
All done! 2FA is enabled, and your account is secure.
Your account security settings are also always available in your account. To do this, go to the section in Security in the top right corner.
How to turn off or reset 2FA?
2FA is an important security measure, so it can't be turned entirely off.
However, if you experience any troubles logging in (e.g. you no longer have access to the device with your 2FA codes), we'll be sure to help you reset it – please get in touch with the B2B support team via live chat or at b2bsupport@cryptopay.me.
