In compliance with the Financial Promotion Act which comes into force on 8 October 2023, at 8 AM UTC, some account functionality is temporarily limited for Cryptopay customers with verified UK residency.

UK customers won't be able to make bank deposits, buy cryptocurrencies with a bank card, and use exchange functionality to buy or sell cryptocurrencies on our platform unless we make sure we are fully compliant with our regulatory requirements.

The following services will still be available to our customers in the UK:

  • Cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals, funds storage;

  • Bank withdrawals in GBP (via Faster Payments) and EUR (via SEPA);

  • Crypto to crypto exchange. The exchange of crypto to fiat and back is not available for UK users.

  • Prepaid cards: UK residents can order a plastic or virtual Cryptopay card in GBP or EUR. Card unloads are unavailable.
