This guide will help you create, set up and verify your Cryptopay account to be able to use our services using the Cryptopay iOS app.

How to create your Cryptopay account

Follow these simple steps to create your account:

  1. Open your Cryptopay app

  2. Tap Create account

  3. Select your country of residence and citizenship

  4. Confirm that you're over 18 years old and agree with our T&C – you can read them by following the relevant links

  5. Tap Create account

Your account has been created – it's just that simple! 🙌 The next step is to set up your account.

How to set up your Cryptopay account

The process of setting up your Cryptopay account consists of three steps:

  1. Fill in the account information

  2. Secure your account

  3. Verify your identity

Fill in the account information

  1. Enter your First name, Last name and date of birth

  2. Tap Continue

  3. Enter your email address and the password you'd like to use for your account

  4. Tap Continue

  5. You’ll get a 4-digit code via email – enter it

  6. Set up and confirm your 6-digit passcode – you'll be able to use it to log in using this device later on

  7. Tap Continue

Secure your account

  1. Enter your phone number – remember to select the appropriate country code

  2. Tap Continue

  3. Confirm that you are not a robot

  4. Tap Continue

  5. You’ll get a 4-digit code via SMS - enter it

Verify your identity

Full verification of your account is necessary for you to be able to use any of our services. You won't be able to make any transactions until the verification is complete.

Important: The process itself and the order of the following stages might look slightly different depending on your country of residence, as well as the device you're using.

Verify your ID

  1. Choose the document you’d like to submit as your ID and tap it

  2. Allow the Cryptopay app to access your device’s camera

  3. Check the requirements and take a photo(s) of your ID

  4. Once you provide the ID photo, check the requirements and take a selfie.

Verify your address

  1. Choose the document you’d like to submit as your proof of address and tap it

  2. Follow the instructions on the screen and take photos of the document or upload a PDF file from your device

  3. Tap Continue

That’s it! After that, you’ll get into your account, and the banner on the top will illustrate the status of your verification.

If you see a green banner - congrats! 🚀 Your account is now fully verified and ready to use. In other cases, follow the instructions on the banner.

I already have an account

If you already are a Cryptopay client, but it’s your first time using the app, you need to tap Sign in, enter your credentials and set up a passcode. Further on, it'll be used for you to log into the app from the device you're using.

You can always change it in the Profile 👤 section or log out by tapping on the Exit icon ⬅️ next to the keyboard. Then, you'll be able to set up a new passcode after logging into the account.
