0x is an infrastructure protocol that allows users to trade ERC-20 tokens and other assets without relying on intermediaries like cryptocurrency exchanges. It is powered by ZRX (an ERC-20 utility token), which gives its holders the power to vote on decisions concerning the development of the network and can be staked to earn rewards.

0x is one of the most prominent examples of decentralised cryptocurrency exchanges. Connecting buyers and sellers directly, the platform often refers to its solution as the ‘Craigslist for cryptocurrencies’ meaning that any developer can build their own cryptocurrency exchange and post it online.

NB: For ZRX transfers, Cryptopay supports ERC-20 network only. All the funds sent via other networks (e.g. BEP-20 etc.) will be lost forever.

In compliance with the Financial Promotion Act which came into force on 8 October, 2023, at 8 AM UTC, some account functionality is temporarily limited for the Cryptopay customers with verified UK residency.
