Get the App

Two-factor authentication, or 2FA, adds an extra layer of security to your Cryptopay account. With 2FA, every time you log in or make a transaction, you need to enter a one-time password generated by a special app (e.g. Google Authenticator or Authy). So, even if someone hacks your password, they won’t be able to log in.

How to enable the 2FA on an Android device?

  1. Install the 2FA app if you don’t have it (Authy or Google Authenticator);

  2. Log into your Cryptopay account on your mobile device;

  3. Click on your name in the upper left corner; you will enter your account settings;

  4. Scroll down until you see Two-factor authentication code; activate this button.

  5. Copy the 32-digit code in the middle of the screen.

  6. Go to the 2FA app you have installed before; click Add account or +; create an account name; click enter a setup key; enter the code there.

  7. Your 2FA app will generate a token for your Cryptopay account. You need to copy this token.

8. Go to your Cryptopay application again, enter the token there, and click Enable 2FA.

Voilà, it’s done!

Yes, it is that simple and that fast!

You can also turn on 2FA on your web version or on your iOS device.
