Dogecoin is an open-source digital currency that uses a proof-of-work protocol, has a block time of 1 minute and no limit to the number of DOGE that can be mined. As a fork of Litecoin, you can merge-mine the two simultaneously.

Perhaps the most famous meme cryptocurrency, DOGE was born in 2013 for a bit of laugh and quickly gathered a loyal fun-loving fanbase. The coin is mainly used for tipping on platforms like Twitter and Reddit.
