How to make a cryptocurrency deposit?
All you need is to take the address from one of your crypto accounts and use it as a destination address when sending funds from another wallet. This is a very simple mechanism:
Go to the Transfers🔁 tab;
Tap on Top up;
Choose an account of the crypto you want to receive;
Click right on the address to copy it.
Currently, Cryptopay supports these assets: BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, LINK, SNX, SOL, USDT, UNI, AAVE, ADA, ALGO, USDC, DAI, OMG, BAT, MATIC, OXT, ZRX, TRX, NEAR, DOGE.
We also support ANKR, EOS, FIL, FLOW, GRT, DOT, ATOM, ETC, KSM, MANA, NANO, SC, ICX, XTZ, YFI - but you can only buy these coins with a bank card and exchange to other supported currencies if you need to withdraw them.
Tip: The address of the ETH and LINK, SNX, USDC, USDT, UNI, AAVE, DAI, OMG, BAT, MATIC, OXT, ZRX accounts is the same, as we support these tokens through the ERC-20 network.
If the transaction is pending, there is nothing to worry about, as we process BTC deposits after 2 confirmations on the network (the number of confirmations can be different for another network). All you need to do is to wait for the transfer to be completed. Sometimes it may take a couple of hours, depending on the load of the network.
Important note: Several platforms/wallets (e.g. Binance) can offer you to choose the network by which you want your token/coin to be sent. And to receive funds into your Cryptopay account for BTC you need to choose Bitcoin network, for LTC - Litecoin network, for XRP - Ripple network and for ETH/ERC-20 tokens - Ethereum network.
NB: Please, always pay attention to the security of your funds. There is a dangerous Trojan virus that switches your BTC address (most likely it works not only with bitcoin), thus changing the receiver of your transaction. So once you copy the address, please check if it’s still the right one, otherwise, your money will reach scammers, and the thing is, the crypto transactions are irreversible.
How to trace your transactions?
You can easily track the status of your transactions by going to the blockchain explorer from the accounts page.
1. From your Portfolio, go to the account you used to make a transaction.
2. Click on the transaction you are looking for. In the opened window, you’ll see its TxID.
3. Click View TXID, and the opened link will bring you to the page with all the necessary information.
In compliance with the Financial Promotion Act which came into force on 8 October, 2023, at 8 AM UTC, some account functionality is temporarily limited for the Cryptopay customers with verified UK residency.
