GBP bank deposits in Cryptopay iOS App

Bank transfers have never been this easy! With our app, you can deposit funds from your bank account in a blink of an eye wherever you are.

To make a bank deposit, you need to know your banking details. There are 2 ways to find them.

1st variant:

  1. Select your British Pound account in the Portfolio tab;

  2. Tap the ➕Top up button;

  3. You’ll see your bank account details there. Use them to send the funds from your bank account.

2nd variant:

  1. Go to the Transfers🔁 tab;

  2. Select Deposit in the Bank section;

  3. Choose your British Pound account;

  4. You’ll see your bank account details there. Use them to send the funds from your bank account.

  • All GBP bank withdrawals are processed automatically 24/7.

  • The average processing time is up to 1-2 hours.

After your deposit is credited, you can exchange it for any of the supported cryptocurrencies – in other words, you can buy crypto using the funds transferred from your bank account

Important notes:

  • Not all banks are signed up for the Faster Payment Scheme. Here is the list of directly connected participants. Alternatively, it’s always better to check with the bank or provider you want to send money to before the transfer.

    You can check if the Sort Code you want to send a payment to accepts Faster Payments, by using the sort code checker.

  • Some banks might also not recognize Cryptopay’s Sort code, as it starts with '0'. This can happen when a bank does not update its Extended Industry Sort Code Directory (EISCD) correctly. It also may happen if they use an old system that does not recognize the 0 at the beginning of the Sort Code. Please enquire with your bank if such an issue exists.
    You can check if the Sort Code you want to send a payment to accepts Faster Payments, by using the sort code checker.

  • Please note that you can’t deposit funds from any third-party or business bank accounts.

  • If you plan to make transfers using a joint bank account, it has to be verified. Please contact us via chat or support@cryptopay.me, and we will be happy to guide you through this process.

  • All transfers from Wise are automatically put on hold. To credit a Wise transfer to your account, contact our support team via live chat or email support@cryptopay.me.
