How to confirm a new device?
As an additional security measure, Cryptopay customers are required to confirm every new device they use. It means that when you log in from another PC, laptop, tablet or phone or use browser incognito or private browsing modes you will be shown an Authorize device screen and a confirmation email with a code will be sent to your linked mailbox. You need to enter this code and click submit.
New Device Confirmation email doesn't work!
If you haven’t received your New Device Confirmation email, please do the following:
Check your Spam box/Junk mail.
Try clearing your cache.
Click Resend to send another code
If nothing mentioned above has solved your problem, please contact our support team via chat or send a request to support@cryptopay.me, they would be happy to help you resolve this issue.
Is it possible to turn off the new device confirmation?
Yes, it is possible – however, for your security, we need to make sure you have the 2FA enabled on your account. To enable it, please go to the Profile page and find the Security settings tab. You can find more information about the 2FA in these guides for iOS and Android. Once you turn on the 2FA, the new device confirmation will be disabled automatically.
If you have any questions regarding our services, don't hesitate to ask our support team via live chat. Or, you can just email them at support@cryptopay.me. They're always happy to help!
