Everything you want to know about the Cryptopay card.
1. Who’s eligible?
At the moment, Cryptopay card orders are available only to the residents of the UK. As of February 2023, new card orders are temporarily unavailable for the residents of the EU. Cards that were previously activated function as usual.
2. Who's the card issuer?
Effective January 2023 our card issuer is PayrNet Ltd, a Railsbank group company.
3. How does the card work?
Cryptopay card works just like your regular bank card, so you can use it to pay for goods and services both offline and online. It is contactless and supports 3D Secure, which helps protect your card against unauthorized use.
Please note that this is a prepaid card, which means that before you can use it, you need to top it up.
4. How much does it cost?
You can order a virtual card for free or opt for a plastic card, which will cost you 5 EUR/GBP.
There's a card service fee (recurring fee) of 1 EUR/GBP. The fee is charged monthly unless the balance of your card is zero. Please note that there’s also a dormancy fee of 5 EUR/GBP, which will be charged if your account remains inactive for more than 365 days. 5. How can I order the card?

7. What are my delivery options?
We offer two. You can choose between the Standard and Express option. The Standard delivery by Royal Mail is free, available for all EEA (European Economic Area) countries and the UK and might take up to 1-2 weeks. The Express delivery by DHL costs 15 EUR/GBP and the delivery time for the card will depend on the country you live in (it may take 1-7 days). You can check it by following the link. Express delivery is available worldwide for the countries indicated in the DHL list, except for some countries. If you would like to arrange delivery outside the EEA and the UK, please contact our support team.

10. How can I top up the card?
You can top up your Cryptopay card right from your Cryptopay account, from another card via Visa Direct, from a Skrill account or from your business account with PayPal.
Please note that loads from another card via Visa Direct or from a Skrill account are usually credited to your Cryptopay card in 1-3 days.
11. Can I link my card to my PayPal account?
Yes, you can link your Cryptopay card with your PayPal account and use it as a payment method there. But please keep in mind that this is only possible to top up your Cryptopay card from a business account at PayPal.
12. Can I change the PIN code for my card?

13. Can I use the plastic card to withdraw cash?
Of course. We charge a 2.5 EUR/GBP fee for cash withdrawals in the card currency and a 3.5 EUR/GBP + 3% fee for cash withdrawals in a currency different from the card currency.
14. Can I use my card to top up a bookmaker account?
Yes, you can use your Cryptopay card for topping up bookmaker, investment, gambling and other accounts which use fiat money, and purchasing traveller's cheques. However, please note that if you use your card with gambling services (such as Bet365), we won’t be able to reissue this card later on, regardless of the reason for the reissue request. This is due to the applicable requirements for the control of gambling activities.
15. Can I use my card to make transactions in foreign currency?
Certainly. We charge a 3% fee for such transactions.
16. Can I transfer the funds from the card back to my Cryptopay account?

17. Can I add my card to Google Pay (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay)?
Not at the moment, but we hope to add this option in the future.
18. How long is my card valid for?
Your card is valid for 3 years. You can find the expiry date on the front side of the card.
19. How do I get a Cryptopay card statement?
You can request it through our support team in the chat or at support@cryptopay.me.
20. I’ve lost my card, what should I do?
You will need to block the card in your account. For more instructions, please refer to this article.
21. I can’t order a card. What do I do?

In case you can’t order a card because of a technical error (e.g., if you can't edit your billing address even on the web-version of Cryptopay), please contact our support team at support@cryptopay.me or via the live chat in the bottom right corner of the website.
22. Can I reissue the card?
At the moment, Cryptopay card orders are available only to the residents of the UK. As of February 2023, new card orders are temporarily unavailable for the residents of the EU. Cards that were previously activated function as usual.
Yes. The reissue fee is 5 EUR/GBP. Please contact us via chat or support@cryptopay.me, and we will help you with it. Please note that we’re unable to reissue cards that have been used on gambling services as per our internal decision.
